Our client, a luxury apparel leader, is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join their dynamic and fast-growing team in Los Angeles. This is an incredible opportunity to work directly with C-suite executives and play a key role in driving the accounting and financial strategy of a globally recognized brand.
Compensation
Base pay range: $120,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Financial Management: Oversee budgeting, projections, forecasting, and P&L management, ensuring financial health and long-term profitability.
- Comprehensive Accounting Operations: Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies while managing the day-to-day accounting activities, including financial reporting and record-keeping.
- Financial Leadership: Manage financial consolidation and reporting processes, presenting clear, actionable insights to the C-suite and stakeholders.
- Collaboration Across Departments: Work closely with various departments to support decision-making, offering detailed financial analysis and guidance.
- Risk Mitigation & Compliance: Develop and maintain a comprehensive system of controls and budgets to mitigate financial risks.
- External Relations: Manage relationships with banks, auditors, tax advisors, and insurers to ensure smooth and compliant operations.
- Strategic Support: Guide the company’s annual planning and budgeting process while providing key financial insights for continued growth.
Must-Have Qualifications
- Experience: 6+ years of progressive experience in Finance & Accounting roles, specifically within inventory and COGS accounting
- Leadership: Proven experience in supervisory or managerial positions, with a strong track record of leading and mentoring teams.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- International Exposure: Experience managing financial operations in a global context, with an understanding of international accounting principles.
- Expertise: Strong knowledge of inventory accounting and analysis. Proficiency in ERP systems, particularly QuickBooks and NetSuite, is required.
- Skills: Highly analytical with exceptional attention to detail and time-management abilities.
- Location: Must be based in Los Angeles, with the ability to work onsite.
