Position Overview

One of our top clients is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager with a strong background in Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) to lead the financial operations of this dynamic nonprofit. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a purpose-driven environment and brings both strategic insight and hands-on accounting expertise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll.
  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
  • Manage and optimize RCM processes to ensure accurate and timely revenue recognition.
  • Prepare financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, nonprofit accounting standards, and grant reporting requirements.
  • Collaborate with program and development teams to support budgeting and financial planning.
  • Supervise and mentor accounting staff.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
  • 5+ years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a nonprofit setting.
  • Proven experience with Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) in a healthcare or nonprofit context.
  • Strong knowledge of fund accounting, grant compliance, and audit preparation.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, or similar).
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
