Position Overview
One of our top clients is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager with a strong background in Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) to lead the financial operations of this dynamic nonprofit. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a purpose-driven environment and brings both strategic insight and hands-on accounting expertise.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll.
Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
Manage and optimize RCM processes to ensure accurate and timely revenue recognition.
Prepare financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with GAAP, nonprofit accounting standards, and grant reporting requirements.
Collaborate with program and development teams to support budgeting and financial planning.
Supervise and mentor accounting staff.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
5+ years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a nonprofit setting.
Proven experience with Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) in a healthcare or nonprofit context.
Strong knowledge of fund accounting, grant compliance, and audit preparation.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, or similar).
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
