We are looking for an experienced Accounting Supervisor to oversee daily accounting operations and support project financials. Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and mentor accounting staff across AP, AR, payroll, and job cost functions.
  • Manage month-end close and prepare accurate financial statements.
  • Oversee job cost accounting, progress billing, lien releases, and retention tracking.
  • Ensure compliance with construction industry requirements (DIR, prevailing wage, certified payroll, etc.).
  • Review budgets, forecasts, and variance reports with project managers.
  • Monitor cash flow and assist leadership with financial planning.
  • Identify and implement process improvements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA a plus).
  • 5+ years of accounting experience, including at least 2 years in construction.
  • Previous supervisory or team lead experience required.
  • Strong knowledge of job cost accounting, WIP reporting, and construction billing.
  • Experience with construction accounting software (Sage 300, Viewpoint, or similar).
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

Salary

Base pay range: $80,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yr
