We’re seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee daily accounting operations, manage financial reporting, and implement process improvements for a multi-state organization. The role ensures accurate financial statements, maintains internal controls, and supports strategic decisions through insightful analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting functions including A/P, A/R, general ledger, and tax compliance.
• Manage month-end close and ensure timely, GAAP-compliant financial reporting.
• Analyze financial results, identify trends, and explain variances to support strategic planning.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysis.
• Partner with operational teams to provide financial insights for performance and cost management.
• Coordinate audit preparations, maintain accurate records, and support external audits.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team; oversee task allocation and performance.
• Participate in projects such as system upgrades, automation, and financial modeling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA certification required.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including team management.
• Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting standards.
• Strong Excel skills; familiarity with Power BI, ERP systems, or financial reporting tools is a plus.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proven leadership in team management, cross-functional collaboration, and process improvement.
