We are currently recruiting for a Direct Hire position that offers a dynamic range of responsibilities in the areas of Accounting and Human Resources. Responsibilities
- Manage all accounting functions including AP, AR, Payroll, Bank Reconciliations, Month End Closing duties and Financial Statements
- Assist in maintaining the integrity of the general ledger by preparing and posting journal entries
- Perform all balance sheet account reconciliations including various payroll deductions
- Direct, coordinate HR, Accounting and Administrative staff and activities
- Review and approve payroll to a payroll outsourcing company
- Analyze financial data to help make informed business decisions
- Identify areas for improvement and cost savings
- Onboarding of new employees and main point of contact for benefits questions
- Oversee employee benefit programs and ensure market competitiveness
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and financial records
- Coordinate with external CPA office on various tax filings and reporting
- Evaluate, lead, and implement a new ERP system within first six months of hire
- Assist with efforts, early on, to convert book accounting from a tax to GAAP basis
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Proficiency in Excel
- ERP software implementation experience preferred
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong communication and customer service skills
