Overview

We are partnering with a global leader in financial services to hire a Manager, Financial Accounting with a focus on compensation. This is a high-visibility role supporting one of the most significant expense lines within the organization's P&L.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team responsible for compensation accounting, providing training, guidance, and performance oversight.
• Perform and review monthly compensation and bonus calculations, ensuring accuracy in reporting.
• Review changes to employee contracts and update accruals accordingly.
• Assist with preparing and communicating commission calculations and bonus deferrals to business leaders and senior management.
• Review and approve journal entries for employee-related costs including benefits, insurance, and pensions.
• Support internal and external audit requests by providing reconciliations and supporting documentation.

Requirements

• 4+ years of accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Proficiency with Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.).
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines under pressure.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
