ConnectPoint Search Group is hiring: Accounting Manager in California

Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Accounting Manager for a fast-growing organization located in El Dorado County. This is an excellent opportunity for a mid-to-senior level accounting professional who’s ready to take ownership of key financial processes and thrive in an exciting work environment.

Base pay range: $100,000.00/yr - $130,000.00/yr. The actual pay will be based on skills and experience.

Location: El Dorado County, CA

Core duties and responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle Accounts Receivable, funding, and collections.
• Post invoices and customer payments in QuickBooks Online.
• Track and calculate commissions based on project pipelines and funding.
• Reconcile bank deposits and maintain A/R aging reports.
• Work with finance partners to support project funding requirements.
• File pre-liens and follow up on past-due accounts.
• Assist with payroll and Accounts Payable functions as needed.
• Publish weekly A/R reports and payment forecasts.

Required skills and qualifications

• 7+ years of accounting and Accounts Receivable experience.
• 5+ years using QuickBooks Online.
• Industry experience is a plus (residential solar).
• Solid understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and revenue recognition.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is from $100K to $130K, depending on experience.
