Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Manager to oversee the day-to-day accounting functions and support reliable financial reporting. With a direct path to becoming a Controller, the Accounting Manager will play a key role in supervising core accounting activities, strengthening internal controls, and ensuring that financial operations run smoothly and accurately.

What You’ll Do

  • Serve as the righthand to the CFO, managing daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities
  • Supervise and support accounting staff, providing training, feedback, and development opportunities
  • Assist with the monthly close process and preparation of financial statements for multiple US locations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Reconcile accounts, review journal entries, and monitor key balance sheet and P&L items
  • Maintain internal controls and help ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and accounting standards
  • Support audits and collaborate with external partners on requests and reconciliations
  • Ensure effective use and optimization of ERP system for accounting operations, reporting, and process improvements
  • Manage revenue recognition and reporting across multiple U.S.-based locations, ensuring consistency and accuracy
  • Provide reporting and analysis to leadership to aid decision-making

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including prior supervisory responsibilities
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and experience with month-end close processes
  • Experience with multi-entity or multi-location accounting, including revenue recognition
  • Tech-savvy. Solid Excel skills; experience with MS Power BI is a plus
  • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple responsibilities with attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
  • Willingness to work fully on-site
