Overview

We are seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to lead the day-to-day accounting operations and support month-end close, financial reporting, and process improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in U.S. GAAP, experience managing or mentoring junior team members, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily accounting functions, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash management
  • Manage the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
  • Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and U.S. GAAP
  • Support audit processes, including preparation of schedules and coordination with external auditors
  • Develop, implement, and maintain internal controls and accounting policies
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, operations, and other business units
  • Supervise and mentor accounting staff; assist with hiring, training, and performance reviews
  • Identify and drive process improvements, automation opportunities, and system enhancements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 1–2 years in a supervisory role
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal controls
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) and Excel proficiency
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
