Overview
We are seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to lead the day-to-day accounting operations and support month-end close, financial reporting, and process improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in U.S. GAAP, experience managing or mentoring junior team members, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily accounting functions, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash management
- Manage the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
- Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and U.S. GAAP
- Support audit processes, including preparation of schedules and coordination with external auditors
- Develop, implement, and maintain internal controls and accounting policies
- Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, operations, and other business units
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff; assist with hiring, training, and performance reviews
- Identify and drive process improvements, automation opportunities, and system enhancements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 1–2 years in a supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal controls
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) and Excel proficiency
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
