Base pay range

$110,000.00/yr - $140,000.00/yr

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll, utilities, treasury, budgeting, cash forecasting, revenue and expenditure variance analysis, fixed asset activity, debt activity, and related tasks.
  • Monitor and analyze accounting data to produce accurate and timely financial reports or statements.
  • Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.
  • Coordinate and complete annual audits.
  • Meet financial accounting objectives by preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements by researching legislation, consulting with outside advisors, and filing financial reports.
  • Advise management on needed actions and potential risks by analyzing financial data and presenting financial strategies.
  • Protect the organization\'s value by keeping information confidential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA or Master’s degree highly desirable.
  • CPA designation required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial systems management, budgeting, financial reporting, data analysis, auditing, taxation, and providing financial advice.
  • In-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws, and best practices.
  • Strong analytical, forecasting, and financial modeling skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and financial management software.
  • Strong ethical standards and high integrity.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills; ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
