Recruiting Lead- Accounting and Finance at LaSalle Network

Our client, a rapidly growing PE-backed manufacturing company, is seeking an Accounting Manager to join their Addison-based team. With a strong foundation dating back to the 1930s, the company now operates across multiple U.S. locations and is undergoing significant transformation across its finance and operations functions. This role will oversee accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and play a critical role in enhancing internal controls and process improvements.

This role is 5x a week in the office in Addison, IL and is budgeted up to a base of $140,000 with additional bonus eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
• Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with GAAP
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
• Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure financial accuracy and compliance
• Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and tax filings
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes in collaboration with the finance team
• Drive process improvements and leverage ERP systems for enhanced efficiency

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred
• 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing or industrial settings
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
• Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite a plus)
• Proven leadership skills and ability to manage a small accounting team
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel
• Excellent communication skills to interact with cross-functional stakeholders
