Base pay range

$90,000.00/yr - $110,000.00/yr

Our client is looking for a Accounting Supervisor to lead several critical areas of the month-end close and financial reporting. They are a large publicly traded company and ideally looking for public accounting experience or accounting experience at a publicly traded company.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review journal entries for areas such as consolidations and stock-based compensation
• Review general ledger and financial statement-level flux analysis
• Mentor staff and seniors on the team
• Identify and lead implementation of process improvements
• Review board materials and supporting schedules for accuracy and completeness
• Liaise with external and internal auditors
• Stay informed of new accounting pronouncements and evaluate impact
• Maintain SOX controls and ensure accordance with US GAAP

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of accounting experience; ideally Top 10/Big 4 firm experience
• CPA preferred; strong knowledge of SOX and US GAAP
• Strong communication and proactive, solution-oriented working style
• Advanced Excel
