Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Accounting Clerk to join a growing accounting team in Boca Raton. This role will focus primarily on accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, supporting a high-volume, centralized accounting structure. The ideal candidate will have experience with AP automation, strong Excel skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Accounts Payable (AP): Process high-volume AP transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Enter invoices into TimberScan (integrated with Sage).
- Support the AP Manager and team with automated AP processes.
- Assist with ensuring vendor invoices are properly coded and processed on time.
- Accounts Receivable (AR): Generate and send invoices to customers.
- Make collection calls and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Maintain accurate customer payment records.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs.
- Prior experience with AP automation systems (specific software not required).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Associate degree preferred, but not required.
- Bachelor’s degree not required.
