Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Specialist to manage day-to-day financial operations and support our HR and payroll processes. This role is heavily focused on accounting functions, including managing AR/AP, processing payroll, and preparing financial reports. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience, proficiency with QuickBooks, and a background in multi-entity invoicing.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and interpret financial statements, including accounts receivable and accounts payable reports
- Handle monthly bank reconciliations, journal entries, and intercompany transactions
- Oversee bi-weekly AP processes, including invoice entry into QuickBooks
- Process AR transactions and daily remote bank deposits
- Conduct daily reviews of cash flow and contribute to earnings forecasts through financial analysis
- Create and review approximately 300 client invoices per month across multiple entities
- Ensure provider payments align with contract terms and maintain accurate records
- Cross-check contract execution against provider reports to ensure compliance
- Produce and distribute quarterly commission and revenue reports for sales and partner teams
- Review and classify monthly expenses accurately across business units
- Assist with new hire onboarding and prepare employment documentation
- Process employee insurance enrollment and liaise with the group provider
- Collaborate with a third-party payroll provider to ensure timely bi-weekly payroll
- Maintain confidential and up-to-date employee records

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3+ years of professional accounting experience
- Solid understanding of accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll processes
- Proven experience using QuickBooks, including multi-entity invoicing
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Effective communication and analytical thinking skills
- Prior experience in the real estate or professional services industry is a plus
