firstPRO is seeking an Accounting Manager for an immediate need in Chamblee, GA.

Location: Chamblee, GA

Hybrid schedule: (4 days in office after training)

Employment status: Temp to Possible Hire

Role reports to: CFO

Scope of the role

• No reporting - looking for a "do-er" with heavy QuickBooks
• AP, AR, bank reconciliations, month end close, journal entries, reconcile inventory, etc.

Must

• Heavy QuickBooks experience (5+ years)

Key Responsibilities

• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), ensuring timely and accurate processing.
• Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
• Handle month-end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Reconcile inventory balances to ensure accurate costing and valuation.
• Create and manage purchase orders through QuickBooks.
• Maintain financial data integrity within QuickBooks, ensuring all transactions are properly coded and recorded.
• Support audit preparation with organized records and reconciliations.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial workflows.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on QuickBooks experience (required).
• Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, bank reconciliations, journal entries, and inventory reconciliations.
• Proficiency in Excel (including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP).
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Degree not required – experience and technical ability are most important.

Nice to Have

• Experience in a manufacturing or product-based business.
• Familiarity with purchase order processes and inventory management.
