Base pay range $110,000.00/yr - $140,000.00/yr Financial Operations Consultant at Selby Jennings Job Type : On-site Job Description Our client is seeking a talented accountant to oversee the month-end close process and manage daily operational accounting areas. This role also includes refining budgeting processes, preparing financial statements, and supporting communications with external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Oversee the month-end accounting close process. Oversee daily accounting operations (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll). Supervise and coach a staff accountant. Improve budgeting and forecasting processes using data. Prepare annual financial statements in line with US GAAP. Review and maintain accounting schedules including reconciliation and allocation. Key Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA license required. 4+ years of experience, including at a public accounting firm and/or biotech firm. Public accounting experience at a Big 4 firm is highly preferred. Experience with NetSuite is preferred. Precise and thoughtful communication skills.
