Job Title: Litigation Secretary
Location: Irvine, CA
Salary Range: $70,000-$85,000 DOE
Work Arrangement: On-site
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week

Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Litigation Secretary to support a busy litigation team in our Irvine office. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of California civil litigation procedures, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced legal environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, format, and proofread legal documents including pleadings, motions, and correspondence
  • Perform e-filing in California state and federal courts
  • Maintain and update attorney calendars, including deadlines, hearings, and meetings
  • Coordinate with court personnel, opposing counsel, and clients
  • Manage case files, both electronic and physical, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
  • Assist with trial preparation, including assembling exhibits and binders
  • Handle administrative tasks such as time entry, expense reports, and travel arrangements
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years of litigation experience in California
  • Proficiency in e-filing systems (state and federal)
  • Strong calendaring skills and familiarity with litigation timelines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal practice management software
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
