Seekig a detail-oriented and proactive Litigation Legal Secretary to support our attorneys in delivering exceptional legal services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in litigation support, excellent organizational skills, and a genuine interest in helping people in the community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, format, and proofread legal documents including pleadings, motions, subpoenas, and correspondence
  • File documents electronically with state and federal courts (e-filing)
  • Manage attorney calendars, schedule meetings, and track court deadlines
  • Maintain and organize case files, both physical and digital
  • Communicate professionally with clients, court personnel, and opposing counsel
  • Assist with trial preparation, including assembling exhibits and coordinating logistics
  • Handle administrative tasks such as billing, time entry, and expense reports
  • Support a small team in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a litigation legal secretary
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software
  • Familiarity with local court rules and procedures
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Commitment to confidentiality and professionalism
  • A positive attitude and a passion for serving the community

Compensation and Benefits

Base pay range: $30.00/hr - $40.00/hr.
$35-40/hr. mentioned in benefits section for full-time roles.
