Job Description

  • This recruitment is to establish a register for current and future Legal Secretary vacancies serving all levels/assignments of the Pima County Attorney's Office.

Job Type: Classified: 5881 - Legal Secretary

Salary Range: $17.36 - $23.44 per hour, with a hiring range of $17.36 - $20.40 per hour. The actual offer depends on skills, experience, and internal equity.

Essential Functions

Supports legal functions by performing specialized secretarial tasks, including preparing legal documents, reviewing cases, coordinating schedules, and maintaining legal files. Communicates with clients and witnesses, and operates office equipment.

Minimum Qualifications

Successful completion of legal terminology or office procedures coursework and one year of legal clerical experience. An associate degree or certificate in legal secretarial studies may substitute for one year of experience. Alternatively, one year of relevant experience with Pima County may suffice.
