Responsibilities
- Greet visitors and staff, answer incoming telephone calls, provide appropriate information or take messages and refer to appropriate staff. Prioritize incoming calls.
- Schedule appointments and provide phone triage for those without appointments.
- Understand and comply with all HIPAA and FERPA regulations for staff and students.
- Monitor and maintain an inventory of district in-stock health supplies. Assist in the processing of new and replenishment orders and the distribution of those supplies to each building.
- Ensure state reports are received from all schools and are ready for processing based on established timelines.
- Track data points on multiple projects simultaneously to be able to report out on the data and identify any significant changes in the data.
- Ensure medical documentation follows established guidelines. Can appropriately document in medical charts and has familiarity with electronic medical records.
- Assist with multiple projects with varying timelines and objectives.
- Assist in scheduling and coordination of student screening programs.
- Provide general secretarial assistance to the health services staff: word processing, spreadsheets, report generation, maintain schedules, copying, filing, distribute mail, faxing, and data entry.
- Use personal computer and general office equipment. Demonstrate proficiency using the technology and computer-based programs provided by the District. Use these programs to effectively manage and organize files, communication, records, and databases.
Summary
Performs duties to provide clerical assistance to the Coordinator of Health Services and support the operations of the health services staff. This is a part time (.5 FTE) position.

Working Conditions & Compensation
Working Conditions: Office Setting
Rate of pay: $19.63-$20.87/hour
