Responsibilities

• Greet clients and take accurate messages, including caller details and return contact information
• Prepare and draft legal documents for filing and correspondence
• Ensure accuracy of all documents
• Perform administrative tasks such as research, filing, mailing, organizing files, calendaring, and managing communication
• Conduct legal research using various resources as assigned
• Handle courier deliveries, faxes, and copying
• Record billable hours daily in billing software
• Perform other tasks as requested by management

Qualifications

• Experience in a law firm preferred
• Domestic law experience preferred
• Proficiency with PC programs
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Senior paralegal/legal assistant roles available for candidates with prior family law or litigation experience
