Job Information

The Latin American and Caribbean Center department at Florida International University is seeking adjunct lecturers to teach Latin American and Caribbean-related area studies and language courses for LACC or in collaboration with LACC-affiliated units.

Please note that this pool is open for the 2024-2025 academic year and is reviewed based on departmental needs. Screening of applications will occur as positions become available and continue until positions are filled.

Minimum Qualifications

• Primary Instructor: Master's Degree in a related field or equivalent.
• 18 hours of graduate level coursework completed in the discipline for undergraduate teaching appointments.
• Secondary Instructor, Course Assistant and Other Instructional:
• Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent.

Desired Qualifications

PhD in the discipline.
