Position Description:
The function of this position is to support the Cyber and Command, Control, Communication, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) section with responsibility for Cyber architecture, technology, evaluation, testing, and compliance across the US market. The role involves supporting the delivery of products and services to Ground Combat Platforms. This is an engineering management position that broadly executes guidance from the platform Chief Engineer, Systems Engineering Manager, and functional management.

Responsibilities to Anticipate/Expect:
- Exercise authority and responsibility for Cyber tasks to integrate cross-functional technical scope within schedule and other constraints. Help ensure a balanced, integrated, and compliant Cyber design across the vehicle system.
- Manage/support the development and implementation of platform cyber-physical design best practices, tools, and education across the engineering enterprise, fostering a cyber security culture.
- Develop and manage system requirements and interface allocations, including performance, space, weight, power, cooling, reliability, and maintenance, ensuring compliance documentation.
- Manage requirements, architectures, system designs, and changes, including trade-offs and final resolutions.
- Conduct trade studies and structured decisions for system and subsystem designs, balancing space, weight, power, cost, reliability, and performance.
- Oversee development of verification plans and manage their execution, including testing, production, and field shakedown.
- Participate in and lead troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem resolution.
- Develop and evaluate artifacts and review for technical accuracy and contract compliance.
- Coordinate with platform IPTs on interface development, threat analysis, and requirements decomposition.
- Evaluate new Cyber and C5ISR technologies for potential use.
- Manage and participate in peer reviews.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related science, or equivalent; relevant certifications considered.
- Minimum of 10+ years' experience.
- Experience with engineering and/or military projects.
- Experience with Cameo Systems Modeler and modeling languages such as SysML.
- Experience with embedded system engineering in cyberspace.
- Experience with Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment (TARA).
- Experience with Cyber Tabletop Exercise (CTTX) drills.
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations including NIST SP 800-37 and NIST SP 800-53.
- Prepare and maintain System Security Plans (SSPs), POA&Ms, and other documentation.
- Leadership experience in technical development projects.
- Experience in military vehicle development and integration.
- Ability to interpret and flow down customer requirements.
- Experience in developing and managing system-level cyber requirements.
- Familiarity with electrical LRUs and troubleshooting electronic hardware.
- Experience with cyber warfare (offensive/defensive).
- Experience with embedded systems, automotive, and military systems.
- Knowledge of software and computer science principles.
- Familiarity with cyber physical system security requirements.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 15%.
- Must be able to obtain a US security clearance.
- Physical ability to work around military vehicles and pass ASR tests is desired.
