Job Description
The Chef Manager manages catering onsite service in accordance with ARAMARK’s standardized program to meet or exceed client expectations, while staying within established budget guidelines.

Job Responsibilities
- Assist the account manager in establishing and organizing the implementation of the ARAMARK Environmental Services program according to ARAMARK standardized procedures.
- Manage catering service routines during mealtime to ensure smooth operations and make improvements aligned with operational objectives.
- Oversee crew scheduling, shifts, and attendance to support excellent service during mealtime.
- Continuously improve working efficiency and service quality.
- Conduct safety training to enhance safety awareness and maintain a safe workplace.
- Manage inventory, tools, materials, and fixed assets; keep tableware and environment safe and clean.
- Maintain good internal communication and collaboration, focusing on problem-solving to ensure smooth operations.
- Establish effective communication with clients to meet or exceed their requirements.
- Train staff to improve service skills and capabilities; maintain detailed work journals and handover checklists.
Qualifications
Education:
- College degree or higher.
Work Experience:
- At least 2 years of onsite managerial experience in the catering industry; experience in large-scale property management, five-star hotels, or customer service management preferred.
Vocational Qualifications:
- Familiar with catering and coffee shop procedures and standards; knowledgeable of professional service systems and operations. Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); some English language ability.
