Job Description
The Chef Manager manages onsite catering services in accordance with ARAMARK’s standardized program to meet or exceed client expectations, while staying within established budget guidelines.

Job Responsibilities
- Assist the account manager in establishing and organizing the implementation of the ARAMARK Environmental Services program according to ARAMARK standards. Execute standardized ARAMARK procedures.
- Manage catering service routines during mealtime to ensure smooth operations and implement improvements aligned with operational objectives.
- Oversee crew scheduling, shifts, and attendance to support service quality during mealtimes.
- Continuously improve work efficiency and service quality.
- Conduct safety training to promote safety awareness and maintain a safe workplace.
- Manage inventory, tools, materials, and fixed assets; ensure the safety and cleanliness of tableware and the environment.
- Maintain effective internal communication and collaboration, focus on problem-solving to ensure smooth operations.
- Establish good communication with clients and meet or exceed their requirements.
- Provide training to enhance service skills and capabilities; maintain detailed work journals and handover checklists.
Qualifications
Education:
- College degree or higher.
Work Experience:
- At least 2 years of onsite managerial experience in the catering industry; experience in large-scale property management, five-star hotels, or customer service management is preferred.
Vocational Qualifications:
- Familiar with catering and coffee shop procedures and standards; knowledgeable about professional service systems and operations. Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); capable of communicating effectively in English.
Competency:
- Customer service orientation with good communication skills. Strong teamwork spirit.
- Ability to work under pressure and solve complex problems quickly and effectively.
- Flexible in implementation and adaptable to change.
- High integrity, responsible, enthusiastic, and dedicated to professionalism. Driven for excellence.
