Office Admin / Office Assistant – Piscataway, NJ
We are hiring for an Office Admin/Office Assistant to join our team in Piscataway, NJ. This full-time role supports administrative and financial tasks within the IT Software/Services sector and contributes to a dynamic, client-focused environment.
Job Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide efficient and reliable administrative support to the team.
- Handle accounts receivable and support the finance department in taxation and related financial services.
- Assist in talent acquisition, helping HR in the hiring process.
- Perform data entry duties with accurate and timely input into our systems.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, resolving client queries and providing information as needed.
- Manage general office tasks such as filing and routine administrative duties.
- Coordinate candidate interviews requested by clients and maintain candidate records with accurate notes and summaries.
- Monitor onboarding processes and maintain touchpoints with placed candidates to ensure performance and eligibility.
- Resolve timesheet and payroll issues as needed.
Qualifications
- US Citizen or valid work visa, Green Card, EAD / TN.
- Proven experience in similar administrative roles, preferably within IT Software/Services or financial services.
- Familiarity with financial services and taxation.
- Proficiency in data entry and general administrative tasks.
Skills
- Sales: Ability to persuade and support client engagements as needed.
- Financial Services: Understanding of financial concepts and processes.
- Customer Service: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Taxation: Knowledge of tax laws and regulatory considerations.
- Accounts Receivable: Proficiency in managing financial ledgers and transactions.
- Talent Acquisition: Experience in recruitment and selection processes.
- Administration: Efficient management of office tasks.
- Data Entry: Fast and accurate typing with attention to detail.
Salary for this position ranges between $10 and $16 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
