The Club at Kalea Bay, a private club in Naples, Florida, offers five-star resort features, including pools, tennis courts, and two restaurants: Salt & Oak and the Driftwood Café. We seek a strategic and thorough full-time Restaurant Manager to join our management team at The Club at Kalea Bay.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant operations, with focus on front-of-house, including opening and closing the restaurant, conducting daily lineups, and assigning side work and sections.
• Oversee food preparation, ensuring compliance with health, safety, food handling, and hygiene standards.
• Assist with ordering front-of-house products and maintaining proper par levels.
• Ensure customer satisfaction with all aspects of the restaurant and dining experience; handle customer complaints in a diplomatic and courteous manner.
• Assist in event planning, setups, and execution.
• Ensure compliance with alcoholic beverage regulations.
• Estimate food and beverage costs.
• Conduct daily inspections of the restaurant and equipment to ensure compliance with health, safety, food handling, and hygiene standards.
• Periodically evaluate restaurant equipment for repairs and maintenance and schedule service.
• Collaborate with chefs to develop appetizing menus.
• Prepare and submit operations reports and other documentation requested by the Food & Beverage Director.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent minimum.
• At least 5 years of food and beverage experience.
• Two years of supervisory experience in a high-quality restaurant/establishment.
• Florida Food Manager’s Certificate and TIPS training preferred.
• Excellent communication, being a team player, and a member service-oriented mindset.
• Computer skills are essential.
