Average pay is based on schedule availability & flexibility and is an estimate based on recent data. The schedule varies and includes weekends and most holidays.

Job Summary

As a Manager, you will oversee the dining room operations, ensure excellent guest experiences, and uphold high service standards. You will lead and train the crew, manage reservations, coordinate seating, and monitor service flow. Handling guest inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere are key responsibilities. You will collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food and beverage delivery, monitor inventory, and manage costs. The ideal candidate is dynamic, professional, with strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to create memorable dining experiences.

Essential Job Functions

  • Oversee daily restaurant operations, including food procurement, guest relations, and service standards.
  • Ensure accuracy in cash handling, safe management, and tip reconciliation.
  • Participate in weekly inventory counts and manage food and beverage costs within company standards.
  • Manage timekeeping records and forecast product needs based on inventory counts.
  • Process invoices and communicate with vendors regarding credits and shortages.
  • Prepare and approve work schedules, troubleshoot inventory variances, and create action plans.

Quality Assurance

  • Ensure all food and beverage meet recipe specifications and quality standards.
  • Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations, including sanitation and storage.
  • Inspect dishes before serving for quality and presentation.

Daily Operations

  • Manage the restaurant during business hours, engaging in all areas.
  • Recognize, coach, and discipline crew members as needed.
  • Handle guest issues, lead pre-shift meetings, and make staffing decisions.
  • Train and cross-train staff, establish training calendars, and manage breaks.

Management

  • Conduct interviews, set goals, and participate in management meetings and training.

Qualifications

  • At least 21 years old.
  • 2 years of management experience.
  • Proven employment stability.
  • College degree in a related field preferred.

Physical Requirements

Ability to meet physical demands, including lifting up to 40 lbs., reaching up to 6 feet, and working in confined spaces.
