Manufacturing Engineer Job Description
Our client is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to add to their team in the Ephrata, PA area. In this position, a driven and innovative professional will thrive. It is an exciting Direct Hire position! The compensation for this position is up to $95K for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the first responder for manufacturing issues, using expertise in machining, materials, and engineering to coordinate with floor staff, supervisors, and engineers to minimize downtime.
  • Communicate project status to management and maintain detailed documentation, including plans, updates, and final reports.
  • Collaborate with personnel across departments on continuous improvement efforts.
  • Build RF cables, connector assemblies, PCBs, prototypes, and demo units for engineering and customer evaluation.
  • Support Engineering by assembling technical documentation and providing mechanical/electrical performance test data.
  • Analyze test failures and assist with root cause analysis in collaboration with Engineering, Quality, and Production teams.
  • Aid the Tooling Department with tool trials and assess production-related tooling requests.
  • Operate and maintain RF test equipment, including developing related test programs and procedures.
  • Troubleshoot, verify, and perform routine maintenance on RF test hardware.
  • Exhibit self-driven leadership consistent with company values.
Requirements:
  • Associate's Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or Statistics required; Bachelor's preferred.
  • Green Belt Six Sigma certification preferred.
  • 5+ years of hands-on manufacturing process improvement experience.
  • Skilled in root cause analysis, creative problem-solving, and continuous improvement (Lean, Six Sigma).
  • Proficient with precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, multimeters) and familiar with electrical test equipment (oscilloscope, network analyzer, etc.).
  • Experienced in hand soldering of electrical components and PCBs.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and system optimization abilities.
  • Excellent manual dexterity for fine component handling
  • Able to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Effective communicator with strong cross-functional collaboration and technical writing skills.
  • Proficient in reading technical drawings and using computer applications.
  • Detail-oriented, quality-focused, budget-conscious, and self-motivated.
