Overview

Our client, a leading biopharmaceutical company that develops and manufactures biologically sourced Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients, is looking for a Manufacturing Manager to join their growing team. The Manufacturing Manager provides leadership to key process operators to maintain smooth operation at the front and back end of production and collaborates with Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, and other Manufacturing personnel to foster a team environment. The role supports the development of processing metrics and improvement projects and provides support to quality systems as appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Ensure readiness prior to startup of each batch
• Ensure smooth transitions of each batch to quality/sales
• Identify and execute process improvement initiatives
• Develop data analysis and tools to identify weak spots in production
• Interface with quality to aid in the development of CAPAs and investigations
• Provide technical support to production and maintenance personnel
• Carry out other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Pharmaceutical manufacturing experience is required
• Associate’s Degree or higher in Engineering (Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, Reliability) or related discipline
• 2+ years of experience required; 5+ years preferred
