Manufacturing Supervisor
Location: Colorado Springs, CO

Job Summary

A client of Ryzen Solutions is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Supervisor to lead daily operations in a fast-paced, discrete manufacturing environment in Colorado Springs. This is a key leadership role where you will be accountable for a team\'s performance, focusing on safety, quality, and production targets across various areas like machining, fabrication, welding, and assembly. The compensation for this on-site position is $65,000 to $75,000 annually.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership & Development: Lead and mentor a production team to achieve safety, quality, and output goals. This involves setting clear expectations, assigning work, monitoring progress, and providing coaching and feedback.
  • Production & Operations Management: Ensure production plans are executed on time by proactively resolving roadblocks and escalating risks. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe and clean work environment and ensuring all processes comply with ISO 9001:2015 requirements.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive process improvements using lean principles such as 5S and standard work. You will troubleshoot production issues and collaborate with other departments like Planning, Quality, and Engineering to optimize workflows and inventory.
  • Administrative Skills: Use ERP/MRP and Microsoft Office tools to manage schedules, track performance metrics, and handle administrative tasks like creating purchase requisitions.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience: Proven experience as a Production or Manufacturing Supervisor in a frontline leadership role.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with manufacturing environments, including machining, fabrication, welding, and assembly, as well as common production equipment.
  • Leadership & Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to lead and coach employees, resolve conflicts, and solve problems effectively with strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Education & Systems: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. You should be proficient with Microsoft Office and have a working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems.
