DEUBLIN GmbH is hiring: Manufacturing Operator in Waukegan

Deublin Company is seeking a Manufacturing Operator to join our team in Waukegan, IL. This role involves performing value-added assembly operations on component parts and final products, following standardized procedures, and maintaining cycle times to ensure efficient, high-quality production. The position is non-exempt with a pay range of $19.49 to $26.36 per hour, based on qualifications and experience.

Responsibilities

1. Read, understand, and execute shop order requirements.
2. Follow manufacturing procedures and perform quality checks to meet customer expectations.
3. Operate hand tools, presses, pneumatic tools, gauges, test equipment, hoists, and other machinery.
4. Interpret blueprints accurately to perform job functions.
5. Use floor terminals for clocking in/out, reviewing instructions, and accessing drawings.

Skills and Abilities

1. Proficient in reading work instructions, safety guidelines, and manuals.
2. Strong judgment and ability to follow detailed instructions.
3. Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
4. Manual dexterity for efficient work in a cell environment.
5. Team player with problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years manufacturing experience preferred.
