Overview

Manufacturing Technician – onsite in Foxboro, MA. 12-month contract on W2 offering a full benefits package, with potential to extend or convert. Schedule: onsite Monday–Friday 6:30am–3:00pm with potential overtime.

Responsibilities

• Performs the set-up, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of components, instruments and mechanical assemblies.
• Troubleshoot printed wiring assemblies.
• Interpret and follow technical drawings and diagrams.
• Test devices to ensure proper functionality and identify trends, providing root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with engineers and other team members to ensure that electronic systems meet quality and safety standards.
• Provide a failure report based on failure analyses.
• Actively seek opportunities to streamline and improve all production activities across all functional teams in a collaborative manner.
• Follows in-process inspection procedures, checks quality of work visually, and verifies inspections by completing records.
• Able to work occasional overtime or support critical issues when needed.
• Escalates barriers and issues immediately to supervisor and necessary support functions.
• Responsible for the manufacturing and assembly of products and supporting all aspects of the production line.
• Ability to follow all safety procedures and programs per company policies, including but not limited to lockout/tagout, fall protection, and other safety procedures necessary to complete the work assignment safely.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical
• Four-year Vocational HS
• Some soldering experience preferred
