Overview

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join a team in Oklahoma City. This role involves operating a sit-down forklift outdoors to safely stack large metal beams for loading onto trailers. The Forklift Operator will play an important role in ensuring efficient material handling and safety compliance in a busy outdoor work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a sit-down forklift to move and stack metal beams
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions (except lightning)
• Coordinate with team members to position and secure loads
• Follow all site safety procedures and company policies
• Assist with related tasks as needed

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of sit-down forklift experience required
• Ability to work outdoors in all elements
• Strong safety awareness and attention to detail
• Experience moving large, non-pallet items is a plus
• Bridge crane or overhead crane experience is a plus
• Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 25 lbs. and perform bending, squatting, kneeling, and standing for extended periods
• Comfortable working in an outdoor environment with varying conditions
