Job Title: Field Welder (Stick Welding – Certified). Schedule: Monday – Friday, with overtime availability. Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and certified Field Welder to join our team. This role involves traveling to various job sites, including technical colleges and commercial buildings, to perform high-quality stick welding work. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of welding experience, strong technical skills, and the ability to work independently while upholding safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform stick welding in the field at multiple locations.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Fabricate, assemble, and repair metal structures according to project requirements.
• Ensure all welds meet industry codes, specifications, and safety standards.
• Maintain welding equipment and tools in proper working condition.
• Follow strict safety guidelines and site-specific regulations.
• Work efficiently to meet deadlines while maintaining a high standard of workmanship.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of professional welding experience.
• Current welding certifications in stick welding (SMAW).
• Strong knowledge of welding techniques, procedures, and safety practices.
• Ability to work at different field locations, including technical colleges and commercial buildings.
• Reliable transportation to travel to job sites.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work overtime when required.

Qualifications

• Experience working in commercial and institutional environments.
• Additional welding certifications (TIG, MIG, or pipe welding).
• OSHA safety training.
