What You Will Be Doing
- Kickstarting each day with dynamic morning sessions that set the tone for excellence.
- Delivering personalized motivation and academic guidance in one-on-one sessions.
- Conducting engaging life skills workshops using your personal stories and interactive methods.
- Leading rigorous afternoon practices that instill grit, teamwork, and responsibility.
- Monitoring student progress and maintaining high expectations for mindset and performance.
What You Won’t Be Doing
- Teaching in a conventional classroom environment.
- Being a passive bystander during practices.
- Conducting unorganized or purposeless training sessions.
- Handling administrative paperwork or academic grading responsibilities.
- Coaching for leisure or non-competitive settings.
Elite Sports Mentor Key Responsibilities
Empower student-athletes to achieve academic and personal excellence through the discipline of elite sports.
Basic Requirements
- Elite athletic background with achievements such as Olympian, World Champion, or Division I All-American.
- Bachelor's degree in any field.
- Experience in mentoring and coaching life skills through sports.
- Proven motivational leadership in sports, academics, or professional environments.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
- Commitment to reside in or relocate to Austin, TX.
About Sports Academy
Texas Sports Academy is where future champions excel in academics and athletics. The program combines an AI-driven, two-hour daily academic block with extensive athletic training, skill-building, and personal development to help students excel in both studies and sport. It emphasizes discipline, leadership, and resilience through integrated technology and structured training.
Working with us
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $75 USD/hour, which equates to $150,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
