Schedule: Full Time

Shift: Options available for 8-hour, 9-hour, and 10-hour shifts Monday-Friday.

The community you'll be caring for: AdventHealth Sports Medicine and Rehab Patients

The role you’ll contribute:

As part of over 40 outpatient clinics across Central Florida, you will join a team dedicated to whole-person care to help patients heal, strengthen, and renew. We serve patients across several counties with a team of therapists, clinicians, and staff committed to AdventHealth’s mission.

The Physical Therapist – Outpatient provides direct and indirect services to specific age groups in outpatient rehabilitation settings, practicing autonomously and collaboratively to provide the best care.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

  • Promoting evidence-based standards of care and lifelong learning through research, journal clubs, teaching, and mentoring
  • Participating in marketing efforts to build referral relationships and community engagement
  • Determining physical therapy diagnoses and establishing care plans, making referrals when needed
  • Performing Direct Access Physical Therapy in outpatient settings, as permitted by state law
  • Supporting staff development and clinical competency

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

  • Current valid State of Florida license or Temporary permit as a Physical Therapist
  • Board Certification from the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
  • Experience with 3D Motion Analysis (Preferred)
  • Experience with collegiate/professional athletes (Preferred)
