The community you'll be caring for: AdventHealth Sports Medicine and Rehab Patients
The role you’ll contribute:
As part of our team across 40+ outpatient clinics in Central Florida, you will help patients heal, strengthen, and renew. You will assist in managing the clinical rehabilitation team, including hiring, coaching, and conducting developmental evaluations, while providing physical therapy in an outpatient setting. You will also engage in rounding with physicians and patients.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
- Interview, hire, and orient staff; complete clinical competencies and performance appraisals; approve continuing education requests; serve as a mentor; promote evidence-based care and lifelong learning.
- Participate in daily operations, clinical and service rounding, staff meetings, and management reports. Respond to and resolve complaints independently. Act as a clinical resource for physicians, patients, and staff.
- Design and implement treatment plans, monitor patient progress, and modify plans as needed. Support quality standards, conduct chart audits, and educate the team on clinical documentation.
- Participate in marketing efforts to build referral relationships and support community outreach through events and educational activities.
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy
- Two or more years of licensed physical therapy experience
- Current Florida Physical Therapist license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Previous leadership experience (preferred)
