Responsibilities and Expectations
- Provide best-in-class non-clinical and clinical support to deliver exceptional lifetime patient care while participating in a hygiene mentor program and ongoing education.
- Work with a practice that supports full clinical autonomy and access to mentorship, education, and high-quality supplies and labs.
- Collaborate with a team and a practice manager, supported by Heartland Dental resources to deliver patient care and community investment.
Minimum Qualifications
- Current dental hygienist license in WA and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required).
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation.
- CPR Certification.
Preferred Experience
- Experience is a bonus but New Graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems.
- Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental health.
- Clinical needs as required by office.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation; capable of lifting up to 45 pounds; prolonged sitting and standing.
- Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year.
- TB test is required for all new hires in dental office positions (not applicable in FL & TN).
