Hours 4:00pm - end time approx. 12midnight - 3am, Monday nights - Fri nights (shift start). Averages about 45-60 hrs/wk.

Night Maintenance Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Will be doing scheduled & unscheduled maintenance on our auto shredder.
• No prior exp on autos shredder required - that is scrap-industry specific.
• Must have experience doing work on moving conveyor belt systems, welding (prefer wire or stick exp).
• Will work with our Operations Supervisors and Maintenance Supervisor, as well as side by side with some of our higher level outside maintenance contractors who are full millwrights.
• Works with team of 4 - 5 direct hire employees.
• Will consider Maintenance Person or Maintenance Lead.
• Would also consider those who are just welder but not maintenance - for that would pay up to $26 - 28/hr.
• Candidates must be reliable with attendance and have good longevity in recent roles.

Qualifications

• Experience doing work on moving conveyor belt systems
• Welding experience (prefer wire or stick)
• Reliable attendance and longevity in recent roles
