Nights Maintenance Helper — Milwaukee, WI

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on the autos shredder. No prior experience on autos shredder required.
• Maintenance cleaning, greasing, parts coordination, and serving as a second set of hands for skilled millwrights.
• Assist with moves and operation around conveyor belt systems; experience in this area is a plus but not required.
• Collaborate with Operations Supervisors, Maintenance Supervisor, and higher level outside maintenance contractors who are full millwrights.

Qualifications

• Some welding experience and a mechanical aptitude preferred.
• Experience around moving conveyor belt systems is a plus but not required.

Details

• Pay: Up to $26/hr plus $0.85/hr NSP. Pay language also notes $24-27/hr plus $0.85/hr NSP in another section.
• Hours: 4:00pm – end time approx. 12midnight to 3am; Monday nights through Friday nights (shift start). Averages about 45-60 hrs/wk.
• Location: Milwaukee, WI.
• Employment type: Direct Hire preferred; we would start as temporary before direct hire paperwork is processed.
• Team: Works with a team of 4–5 direct hire employees.
