- Ensure that all standards of cleanliness and laundry are maintained in the care home, following standard operating procedures for housekeeping and laundry.
- Carry out cleaning duties and understand the cleaning requirements of different surfaces and coverings.
- Treat residents with dignity and respect, and respect their personal space and belongings.

Your focus as a Housekeeping Assistant will be to work as part of a team, ensuring that all standards of cleanliness and laundry are maintained in the home. You will operate according to our standard operating procedures for housekeeping and laundry, ensuring that hotel service standards are maintained.

- Knowledge of Health and Safety, particularly Moving and Handling techniques, Fire Safety and COSHH assessments.
- Experience of cleaning laundry in a public setting.

- Ability to be adaptive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.
