Condo Housekeeping Manager Job at Samoset Resort in Rockport

Job Responsibilities:

1. Oversee daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and to high standards.
2. Develop and implement housekeeping policies and procedures to enhance service quality and operational efficiency.
3. Manage the housekeeping staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
4. Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure cleanliness and safety standards.
5. Collaborate with other departments to coordinate cleaning schedules around events and guest needs.
6. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper usage and cost control.
7. Address guest complaints regarding cleanliness promptly and professionally.
8. Order guest and cleaning supplies to ensure proper inventory levels at all times.
9. Complete any additional tasks assigned.
10. Assist housekeepers, housemen, and supervisors as needed during shifts.
11. Coordinate relevant projects for the department.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least three years of experience in a related position
• Advanced knowledge of the Housekeeping Department
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
• Excellent guest service and communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs and carry up to 75 lbs
• Ability to walk or stand for prolonged periods
