Responsibilities

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Inspect the work of Room Attendants and Housemen within your designated zone to ensure cleanliness of guest rooms and floors, meeting Radisson standards.
  • Identify and process all maintenance requests effectively via radio communication and Asset Essentials.
  • Design and implement new standards as necessary.
  • Assist housekeeping staff with duties such as making beds, replenishing linens, cleaning bathrooms and halls, and vacuuming.
  • Provide effective feedback to staff to ensure quality, including all Room Attendants and Housemen within your zone.
  • Take periodic inventories of service areas and housekeeping storage.
  • Maintain professionalism in communication and task delegation through radio.
  • Assist in training new employees on cleanliness standards, brand standards, and customer service.
  • Deliver feedback positively and lead the team with enthusiasm.
  • Use downtime to self-inspect guest room floors, guest rooms, elevators, and service areas to ensure standards are met.
  • Partner with other Rooms Division leaders to ensure guest rooms are ready before 4:00 PM check-in.
  • Communicate effectively with the Laundry team to ensure linen and towel needs are met for Room Attendants throughout the day.

Qualifications

What You Need for this Position

  • Two years of housekeeping experience preferred but not required.
  • Outstanding cleaning ability.
  • Ability to stand for long periods, up to 8 hours or more.
  • Ability to stoop and bend.
  • Occasionally lift up to 40 pounds.
  • Ability to safely work with potentially dangerous chemicals and equipment.
  • Compliance with safety and health standards.
  • Ability to handle responsibilities involving repetitive motion tasks.
