Title: Assembly Operator

Location: Newburyport, MA

3rd Shift

Pay Range: $19.50 - $21.50

As An Assembly Operator, You Will

• Operate Equipment: Work with manual, automatic, and semi-automatic microelectronics assembly equipment under supervision.
• Inspection: Inspect die and packages to various Military and Jedec standards using high and low-power microscopes.
• Follow Instructions: Adhere to defined specifications and reaction paths, following written and verbal instructions.
• Hands-On Work: Use multiple hand tools to process delicate products without causing damage.
• Train & Mentor: Share your knowledge by training other employees on basic equipment operation and assembly processes.
• Organized Work Environment: Maintain a well-organized and audit-ready workspace.
• Data Management: Utilize computer-based manufacturing systems to move products and enter data.
  
  

What We're Looking For

• Education: High school diploma or GED required; previous experience in electronic/semiconductor assembly is a plus.
• Team Player: Positive, team-oriented attitude is essential. Represent and support Rochester's culture by adhering to our work policies and practices.
• Stable Work History: We value individuals with proven track records and commitment. We have never had a layoff!
• Computer Skills: Basic computer skills are necessary. Experience with Microsoft Office and computer-based manufacturing systems is ideal.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills are needed to define specifications and report daily outcomes to management.
• Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail to screen, visually inspect, measure, and sort semiconductor devices.
