Production Associate_Northland - 3rd Shift
Location: Cincinnati, Ohio 45246
Starting at: $17
3rd Shift: 10:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m. Weekends as needed.

Responsibilities
- Strictly adhere to all safety protocols, use, maintain, and store personal protective equipment (PPE). Participate in safety programs, training sessions, and safety reviews to identify and mitigate hazards. Ensure compliance with company and regulatory safety standards.
- Handle equipment and materials safely and store them correctly to prevent accidents.
- Pack, weigh, and label completed items for shipment per instructions.
- Operate metal detectors, tape machines, and label machines as required.
- Follow GMPs and SQF policies and procedures.
- Conduct quality control checks by inspecting items for damage or defects (seal integrity, label accuracy, lot code, weights, product aesthetics, etc.).
- Stage materials at workstations or production lines to ensure smooth workflow and minimal downtime.
- Load raw materials, components, or supplies into production equipment following safety, quality, and operating procedures.
- Move materials and products using pallet jacks or other handling equipment; load, unload, and maintain equipment.
- Perform pre-operation inspections to monitor equipment readiness (alignment, lubrication, functionality) and identify minor issues to prevent interruptions.
- Report equipment malfunctions or irregularities to the appropriate team member.
- Assist with sanitation to maintain food manufacturing standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Required Skills/Abilities
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common industry, production, and technical documents in English.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficient understanding of production procedures and equipment.
- Commitment to maintaining high safety standards.
- Strong leadership and communication skills within a team.
- Experience in a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality and safety.
- Ability to comprehend and communicate effectively in English.
- Basic math skills and ability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
- Proficiency in equipment use and operation.
Education And Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Warehouse or factory experience, packaging goods for shipment.
- Food manufacturing experience is preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Working conditions are typical for a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and move objects as needed.
- Ability to communicate effectively and to exchange information with others.
- Repetitive motions of wrists, hands, and fingers; good hand/eye coordination.
- Ability to work in varying temperatures and environments (e.g., freezer, dock, production).
- Ability to stand for extended periods and move around the manufacturing floor.
- Must be able to ascend/descend ladders, stairs, and perform related tasks.
- Wear PPE as required and maintain a clean work environment.
