Dessert Holdings Inc. is hiring: Sanitation Supervisor (3rd Shift) in Smyrna

Key responsibilities

• Schedule and manages a crew of sanitation personnel to ensure compliance with all company, regulatory, and customer quality standards, sanitation standards, food safety standards, employee safety and environmental standards.
• Audit and correct sanitation nonconformance on the production floor as well as the facility.
• Fulfillment of documentation to comply with audit regulations on a daily, weekly, monthly basis.
• Completing titration and documenting effectively to ensure proper use and report nonconformance immediately for corrective action.
• Implements corrective actions to ensure compliance with regulatory authorities and customers.
• Manages and supervises cleaning of non-compliance areas associated with quality concerns.
• Maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies, chemicals and equipment.
• Focusses on safety and proper training to ensure that company SOPs and proper GMPs are being implemented.
• Collaborates with other departments and shift managers to ensure any sanitation related issues.
• Lead the team in deep cleaning when there is no production, by following the plan and adjusting if needed with proper communication to all teams for awareness.
• Develops and implements training programs for all levels of sanitation employees.
• Act as a backup for Sanitation Manager.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

1. Must have reliable transportation.
2. High School Diploma or GED
3. General knowledge of FDA, GMP, HACCP, Sanitation, Quality and Safety programs preferred.
4. Sanitation Experience in food manufacturing environment including supervisor capacity or equivalent combination of experience and training.
5. Detailed knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety protocols.
6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
7. Strong attention to detail.
8. Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Salary ranges from : 50k-55k per year
