Base pay range: $135,000.00/yr - $165,000.00/yr

Additional compensation types: Annual Bonus and Commission

Responsibilities

  • Manage sales activities related to FDA-approved, commercialized Blue Earth Diagnostics products within an assigned geography.
  • Promote POSLUMA, develop opportunities, and grow and maintain product utilization among targeted healthcare providers and administrators evaluating and managing prostate cancer patients.
  • Manage a diverse range of customers across multiple settings; develop thought leadership across the customer arena; facilitate collaboration and communication between all customers.
  • Navigate a new selling environment and learn to operate in complex environments.
  • Partner with PET manufacturing partners/distributors servicing their geographies; maintain knowledge of responsibilities, products, and relevant disease states.
  • Represent Blue Earth Diagnostics at appropriate venues (e.g., medical conferences, distributor meetings, internal events) and comply with legal and regulatory guidelines.
  • Focus on the Chicago North territory and preferred familiarity with the region.
  • Represent the company professionally at all times.
  • Adhere to provider institution policies related to access, education, evaluation, and usage of new pharmaceutical products (e.g., formulary, vendor access).
  • Budget management: conduct activities within defined expense budgets unless directed otherwise.
  • Maintain timely communication with manager regarding progress, needs, and market observations.
  • Ensure usage of approved and current sales materials and messages.
  • Maintain productive relationships with distributors and promotional partners.
  • Observe pharmacovigilance policies and report any product adverse events promptly through the appropriate channels.
  • Learn and pass assessments; maintain knowledge of product and disease state responsibilities.
  • Proactively identify issues and respond to business development opportunities.
  • Other duties as determined by business needs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, health science, or related field is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of proven successful pharmaceutical sales experience or equivalent sales experience.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with imaging centers and key referring customers (Radiation Oncology, Urology, Oncology).
  • Ability to communicate effectively and persuasively with high-level medical professionals (physicians, administrators, department managers).
  • Frequent domestic travel is required (up to 50% depending on geography).
  • Acceptable driving record is required.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to influence and build relationships across global constituencies with competing priorities.
  • Strong coaching, facilitation, and organizational skills; team player. Experience with cross-functional and highly matrixed organizations.
