We are looking for a Manager to join our Industrial Products assurance team.

You will have the opportunity to work as a team member on diverse client engagements as part of our national and local Industrial Products practice. Our clients include local, national, and internationally recognized manufacturers, wholesalers, and distributors with diverse organizational structures operating in a variety of sectors. RSM is the leader in the industrial products space, helping middle market companies through their business challenges.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide timely, high-quality client service that meets or exceeds expectations, including coordinating the auditing of all required financial statements, related disclosures, and other client deliverables.
2. Assess risk along with designing and communicating audit procedures to engagement teams.
3. Understand and utilize RSM's Audit Methodology.
4. Manage multiple engagement teams and prepare end-of-engagement evaluations for staff.
5. Supervise Audit Seniors and Supervisors on engagement teams, acting as an in-charge to facilitate fieldwork and monitor productivity and adherence to work plan schedules.
6. Maintain contact with clients throughout the year to understand the impact of significant developments in their business and assess the impact on current-year audit engagements.
7. Develop others within the firm through training, advising on career development, or participating in firm initiatives.
8. Manage profitability of projects and identify performance improvement opportunities.
9. Ensure ongoing professional development and stay updated on developments affecting GAAP and the firm’s standards and policies.
10. Willingness to travel approximately 25% of the year, depending on client needs.

Required Qualifications:

1. BS/BA Degree in Accounting or equivalent.
2. CPA or CA Certification.
3. 5+ years of recent experience in public accounting.
4. Experience leading teams and mentoring staff.
5. Knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, FASB, or IFRS regulations.
6. Proven ability to build profitable client relationships.
7. Minimum of 4 years of team lead or in-charge experience overseeing staff on multiple engagements.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience managing multiple engagements and deploying staff effectively.
2. Fluency in French, German, Japanese, or Mandarin, including speaking, reading, and writing, with cultural and business understanding.
3. Experience managing relationships with large non-US companies with significant North American operations.

Our background check process complies with applicable laws, including fair chance hiring ordinances. Salary ranges are based on experience, skills, certifications, and location, and may vary. The compensation range for this role is $89,800 - $170,500, with eligibility for a discretionary bonus based on performance.
